Frankelis Tavarez, a 25-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot on March 30, 2024, in the Fordham Manor neighborhood. The incident unfolded at approximately 8:53 p.m. near the intersection of East 187th Street and Tiebout Avenue, a busy area just a few blocks from the Grand Concourse.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene following multiple 911 calls reporting
