Death by Force

On May 8, 2024, at approximately 6:32 p.m., New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the intersection of East 187th Street and Beaumont Avenue in the Bronx. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Jeffrey Lopez with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
