Jermaine Nibbs, a 45-year-old man from the Bronx, was fatally shot on April 20, 2025, in a tragic incident that unfolded at the Mott Haven Houses, a public housing complex in the Bronx. The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. behind one of the buildings at East 143rd Street and Willis Avenue.
