In the late afternoon of May 1, 2020, the life of 20-year-old Dominique Williams, a Black male, was tragically cut short in St. Louis, Missouri. Just before 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Upon arrival at the 1300 block of Burd Avenue, officers discovered Williams in an alley, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
