In the summer of 2015, the life of a Bronx man was tragically cut short in an act of violence that remains unresolved. Hector Nieves, a 43-year-old male resident of Fordham, was fatally shot on the evening of June 9th. The incident occurred in the Belmont neighborhood, about a mile from his home.
