Darryl Harris, 17, a Black male, was shot during a summer evening gathering at Starlight Park in the Bronx on June 24, 2025. What began as a playful water-gun meetup near Sheridan Boulevard and East 173rd Street turned volatile after Harris, repeatedly hit by water-gel pellets, asked that it stop.
