In the Bronx, a 47-year-old Hispanic man named Alexis Ramirez was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, March 16, 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the Fordham Heights neighborhood, in front of an apartment building at 2311 Morris Avenue. Officers from the 46th Precinct responded to 911 calls reporting a person shot and discovered Ramirez at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
