Dorothy Thomas, a 27-year-old employee at Nu Way Cleaners in Tallahassee, Florida, was brutally murdered on September 6, 1957. Thomas was found stabbed multiple times, with reports indicating that she suffered around 20 to 36 stab wounds primarily to her neck and chest. Her body was discovered in the bathroom of the dry-cleaning business by a deliveryman. Evidence suggested that she had been dragged from the front of the store to the back, where she was left.
