On February 16, 2021, Donte Thomas, a 33-year-old deli worker from the Bronx, NY, tragically lost his life in a violent incident. The events unfolded at approximately 8:40 p.m. when Tykwan McLeod, a 45-year-old man, entered K’s Convenient Deli located at 8 East Mount Eden Avenue.
