On December 2, 2021, Jamal Bryant, a 27-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at approximately 1:52 p.m. in the lobby of a building located at 388 E. 141st Street, part of the Mott Haven Development. Police responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting and found Bryant lying unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene and pronounced him dead.
