Detective Sean Gerald Carrington, aged 28, tragically lost his life on January 19, 1998, in the Bronx, New York. He was shot and killed while participating in a buy-bust drug operation at a known drug location. The incident occurred in a second-floor hallway at 1660 Andrews Avenue in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx.
