In the late afternoon of November 21, 2022, a violent encounter at a Mobil gas station on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx set off a tragic chain of events. Raymond Genao, a 29-year-old male, was inside his black Toyota Camry when he was shot in the back. Despite his grave injury, Genao managed to drive away from the scene, traveling for about two miles before his strength gave out.
