Death by Force

On November 27, 2024, at approximately 2:42 p.m., 29-year-old Jerron Grant was fatally shot near East 161st Street and Morris Avenue in the Bronx, New York. Officers from the NYPD's 44th Precinct, who were on foot patrol in the area, witnessed a 15-year-old male suspect draw a firearm and discharge multiple rounds at Grant, striking him once in the chest. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
