A Tuesday afternoon dispute on a Bronx subway platform culminated in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Adrian Dawodu. The incident, which marked the first homicide in the city's transit system for the year, unfolded just before 3 p.m. at the 170th Street station on the B and D lines. An altercation that began on the train spilled out onto the southbound platform, where Dawodu was shot multiple times.
