On the evening of April 29, 2021, Ramel Moore, a 32-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in front of 1229 Franklin Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct. Responding to a 911 call, police officers found Moore unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite being rushed to New York City Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
