Sean A. McDonald, a 26-year-old police officer with the New York City Police Department, tragically lost his life on March 15, 1994, in the Bronx, New York. Officer McDonald was on duty, guarding a condemned building at the corner of Edward L. Grant Highway and Shakespeare Avenue in the High Bridge section of the Bronx.
