Javorius Tykies Scott, known professionally as JayDaYoungan, was a 24-year-old African American male rapper from Bogalusa, Louisiana. On July 27, 2022, he was fatally shot in his hometown. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. outside a home on Superior Avenue. JayDaYoungan was transported to Our Lady of the Angels emergency room, where he succumbed to his injuries.
