On August 19, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Bogalusa, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Tajdryn Mikhel Forbes. The incident took place early in the morning, around 1:30 a.m., when Bogalusa Police responded to a call of shots fired on Florence Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Tajdryn Forbes severely injured and lying in the roadway. Despite medical efforts, Forbes succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
