Jonte Thomas, a 36-year-old resident of Cocoa, Florida, was tragically shot on December 9, 2016, after attending a Cocoa High School football game. Thomas and two friends were driving down Fiske Boulevard when they heard gunshots. As Thomas turned onto Mitchell Street, he was struck by a bullet, causing him to crash the vehicle.
