David Rivera, a 24-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on November 24, 2015. Rivera was shot and killed in broad daylight in front of a daycare center located near 175th Street and Crotona Avenue. This incident was part of a violent confrontation between rival drug gangs operating in the area. Rivera was a member of one of these gangs, and his death was a result of ongoing turf wars over drug-selling territories.
