In the early morning hours of the Fourth of July, 2021, tragedy struck in the Bronx when 22-year-old Mamadou Bah was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 4:10 AM in front of 866 E. 172nd Street in the Crotona Park neighborhood. Responding to a 911 call, police discovered Bah with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. A second victim, a 27-year-old male, was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound to his buttocks.
