In the early morning hours of a Saturday in the Bronx, a young man's life was cut short by gunfire. Shane Sanchez, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot outside his apartment building in the Throgs Neck neighborhood. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. at the NYCHA Throgs Neck Houses on Sampson Avenue.
