Joel Jay-Gunz Baba, a 22-year-old rapper from the Bronx, New York, was tragically killed on July 5, 2020. The incident occurred in an apartment building on East 171st Street and College Avenue in the Claremont neighborhood. Joel, along with 27-year-old Eghosa Imafidon, was shot multiple times by two gunmen who opened fire in the hallway of the building.
