On March 2, 1997, 18-year-old Sheila Ann Bryant was found murdered at a former gravel pit in Concord, North Carolina. Bryant had been missing since February 26, 1997, after she left her home in Kannapolis to walk to a nearby payphone. Her body was discovered a few days later, partially clothed, leading investigators to suspect foul play. Despite efforts from local law enforcement, the case remains unsolved.
