On March 21, 2023, the bodies of Kathy Marguerite Chatman McRoberts, 58, and her husband, Donald McRoberts, were discovered in their Troy, Missouri, home. Both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The couple was known for their active involvement in the community, particularly through their volunteer work at Calvary Chapel's food pantry.
