In the early morning hours of June 14, 2025, a violent outbreak of gunfire shattered the quiet near a gas station at the intersection of East 35th Street and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Officers were dispatched to the scene just after 1:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting.
