On May 7, 2023, 18-year-old Aaliyah La'Joyia Gillom was tragically killed in a quadruple shooting in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the Hyde Park neighborhood, specifically in the 2100 block of Branch Street. Aaliyah was found deceased at the scene alongside her friend, 18-year-old Asia Baker. Two other victims, both pregnant 17-year-old girls, sustained serious injuries but survived.
