On August 3, 2023, 30-year-old Ametta Powell was found with a gunshot wound to the head in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Planned Industrial Court in the Mark Twain I-70 Industrial neighborhood. Witnesses reported that Powell was pulled from a vehicle by a man who then drove away, leaving her at the scene. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
