Mi'Kenzie Bostic, a six-year-old girl from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically died on February 13, 2017. The incident occurred when Mi'Kenzie was accidentally shot by her nine-year-old sibling who had gained access to a firearm. The shooting happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. while their mother, Ebony Jones, was asleep.
