On a Tuesday evening in the Glasgow Village area of St. Louis County, the life of 18-year-old Amea Robinson-Smith was tragically cut short. On June 25, 2024, police were alerted to the sound of gunfire in the 200 block of Roderick Drive shortly before 8 p.m. by a ShotSpotter activation. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered a grim tableau: Amea Robinson-Smith and a 25-year-old man, Tyrese Mosley, were found inside a car, both having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite any efforts to save them, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Amea, a resident of the 11200 block of Old Halls Ferry Road, and Tyrese, who lived in the 10500 block of Olney Drive in Dellwood, became the focus of a double homicide investigation launched by the St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
