On a Sunday night in Atlantic City, the sound of multiple gunshots pierced the air in the 1100 block of Monroe Avenue, prompting a police response at approximately 10:06 p.m.. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two men who had been struck by the gunfire. One of the men, 37-year-old Kevin Gayle Jr. of Marmora, was found unresponsive.. He was a man with a funny personality who was always willing to help a friend in need and loved taking his children to the waterpark.
