On October 13, 2024, at approximately 4:02 p.m., Camden County Police Department officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating gunfire in the 1900 block of Kossuth Street in Camden, New Jersey. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Camden resident Nasir Mason suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers transported Mason to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m.
