In the winter of 2023, the life of Albert Lamonte Henderson Jr. was tragically cut short in Portsmouth, Virginia. On the morning of February 20, the 41-year-old man was fatally shot in the 1500 block of Lasalle Avenue. First responders arrived at the scene to find Henderson suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
