On May 14, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to a shooting incident in the 4800 block of Killam Avenue, near Old Dominion University. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Davrion Diego King suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
