In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Norfolk, Virginia, tragedy struck a young man named Davrion Diego King. On May 14, 2023, the 20-year-old male was fatally wounded in a shooting that also injured two other people. The incident unfolded around 12:30 a.m. in the 4700 block of Killam Avenue, a street that had unfortunately been the scene of violence in the past. When police officers arrived, they found a chaotic scene with multiple victims.
