Death by Force

On March 27, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., 56-year-old Venson Townsend was fatally shot near the intersection of Martin Street and Miller Avenue in south Fort Worth, Texas. Responding officers discovered Townsend with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that Townsend died from multiple gunshot wounds.
