On a July evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of 40-year-old Jamaal Castle Moore, a male, came to a tragic and violent end. It was the Fourth of July in 2023 when police were called to Hampton Avenue, between Madison and Marshall avenues, around 9:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
