Death by Force

On the evening of November 1, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Accomack County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at the Dollar General store located at 14093 Lankford Highway in Mappsville, Virginia. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Maurice Anthony Holden, a resident of Melfa, Virginia, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
