Marquis Dixon, a 28-year-old resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was tragically murdered on August 29, 2007. The incident occurred in the Camelot neighborhood, specifically in the 2800 block of Eric Court. According to reports, Dixon was standing outside talking on the phone around 2:25 a.m. when he was shot multiple times. He was subsequently transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
