In the late summer of 2011, the life of 18-year-old Daevon Shaquille Miller, a male resident of Norfolk, Virginia, was tragically cut short. On the morning of Saturday, August 20, 2011, Miller was attending a family gathering at the El Patron Cantina Mexican Restaurant in Chesapeake. In an instant, the celebration turned to tragedy when he was fatally shot outside the establishment.
