On a Saturday afternoon, the vibrant life of 17-year-old DeAndre “Dre” Ladanian Everette was tragically cut short. The Black/African American male was fatally shot on February 19, 2022, in the parking lot of the Camelot Community Center in Chesapeake, Virginia.
