On April 28, 2020, Taekwon Demond Rumble, a 22-year-old resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed while sitting on a Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus. The incident occurred around 5:20 PM at the HRT bus transfer stop located in the 400 block of Liberty Street in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake.
