In the winter of 2022, a dispute in a Chesapeake, Virginia home escalated to a fatal conclusion. Roger Hardy, a 69-year-old man, was shot and killed on February 6th. The events leading to his death began when another man, 33-year-old Thomas Ireland, became disorderly and was removed from the residence on Timber Lane where Hardy was also present.
