On a summer evening in Sumter, South Carolina, the life of 34-year-old Anthony Rashod Major was cut short in a burst of violence. On Sunday, July 30, 2023, Major was outside his residence on Patricia Drive when a vehicle approached. Multiple gunshots were fired from the passing car, striking him.
