In the late summer of 2023, the life of Rodney Chrishawn Gambrell, a 29-year-old Black/African American male from Anderson, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On September 2, 2023, in Greenwood, South Carolina, Gambrell was involved in a shooting incident. He was transported to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The event that claimed his life was officially ruled a homicide. Another individual was also injured during the shooting.
