In the spring of 2019, the life of Jose Nieves "Pepe" Hernandez, a 47-year-old male, was abruptly cut short in a tragic act of violence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On April 22, Hernandez, a dedicated postal worker, was going about his daily route when he reportedly witnessed a confrontation and attempted to intervene. This act of a good Samaritan would unfortunately be his last.
