Darris Anthony Brooks, aged 42, passed away on June 19, 2022, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds in front of a residence on Florida Avenue around 2:52 a.m. Despite being rushed to Self Regional Healthcare, he was pronounced dead at 3:42 a.m. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide.
