In the early morning hours of January 4, 2026, the life of Juventino Gonzalez Altamirano, a 32-year-old man, was tragically cut short in Greenwood, South Carolina. His body was discovered unresponsive in the 600 block of Hall Avenue. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office later confirmed that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and pronounced him dead at the scene at 3:21 a.m. Authorities immediately began investigating the case as a homicide.
