The events leading to the tragic death of Devin Simon began to come to
light after a Camden Police Department officer attempted to pull over a speeding Nissan Armada. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop, leading to a brief pursuit that ended at the emergency room of a local hospital. Inside the SUV were six individuals, three of whom, including Simon, were suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite medical efforts, Devin Simon succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Two other occupants of the vehicle fled the scene upon arrival at the hospital, while one person was taken into custody by law enforcement.
