In the quiet community of Lugoff, South Carolina, a family was irrevocably fractured by violence. Mack Murry Murphy, a 69-year-old man, was shot and killed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The fatal incident occurred late at night, around 11:30 p.m., at his residence in the 1000 block of Grey Fox Road, a home he shared with his brother.
