In the summer of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. Cortez Damon Dunlap, a 34-year-old male, was killed on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. The incident that led to his death unfolded in the 1100 block of Primrose Street in South Jackson, where he was fatally shot. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, Dunlap was pronounced deceased.
